Delete all .gpx files in your GPX folder, including any on a SD card. Now do the reset.

On some devices there's a setting in the developers menu, no idea about whether that is included in the XT though.

If you simply want screenshots though select those points as the starting point for the route.

True although I reported it via Garmin. I've only needed to report a couple of device issues to Garmin plus quite a few BaseCamp issues when I had a direct line into the developing team, long ago disbanded. All were resolved.

Well you can't 'load' from your Zumo. What you can do is read the maps from your Zumo, can you do that? Ideally you should use Express to install the map to your PC for BaseCamp to use. Where did you load BaseCamp from? If the Garmin website it will be the latest version. What maps can't you unlock and how did you install them?

Just to help you understand this. current.gpx is simply a one way copy of your data held in inaccessible memory on the device. You can delete it and your device will recreate it when it boots. There will be a .gpx file somewhere on your device, if you're reimporting data after a master reset. Look for a .gpx file where the date/time matches when you believe you created that, or alternatively delete all the .gpx files on your device. After that once everything is as you want it make a copy...
