Re: Hi from South Yorkshire

Welcome to Zumo user forums Terry, seems like we all had trouble starting to use Basecamp. Some good tutorials on you tube will help you get your head around it.
Cheers, Pete.

Re: Hi from Cumbria

Welcome to Zumo users forums Graham. You're not alone in finding Basecamp a bit of a challenge but when you get into it (with help from your Zumo friends) you'll find it good for planning your routes & tours.
Cheers, Pete.

Re: Sumo 390LM Battery not holding charge

Just for a comparison, I just took this picture of the Z550 case screws. The head is approx 3mm Dia and the driver is a T6

Re: Sumo 390LM Battery not holding charge

I would be very surprised if the screws are smaller than T4 which is the smallest in the set I bought--but then----life's full of surprises. ;)

Re: Sumo 390LM Battery not holding charge

I can't help with the size of screws on the 390 Jenny but a full set of Torx screwdrivers are not expensive on ebay. I bought this set to use on my Z550. T6 is the one needed for 550, may be different on your 390? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Draper-9Pce-Torx-Tx-Star-Precision-Screwdriver-Set-T4-T5-T6...

Re: 550 Screen Problem

You could open it up and unplug/replug the digitizer to give it a shiny, new connection. Yup, did that earlier Dave. The screen went white with no image. Took the digitizer off again, cleaned the contacts, re-connected it again and it worked fine for a couple of minutes, then back to not working! O...

Re: 550 Screen Problem

Would you be open to sending it off for repair? As I only kept it as a "stand by", I'm not sure that it woud be cost effective to repair. The maps are quite old and I let someone have the bike mount. I can move between screens by using the button on the left. I may have a look at doing a ...

550 Screen Problem

I have an old(ish) 550 to which I fitted a new screen/digitizer. It worked OK for a while then it wouldn't react to touch screen instructions. I've tried to re-calibrate but when it opens the process the dot appears top centre but doesn't move when touched. The screen/digitizer was a Chinese jobbie ...

Re: 660 LM appears to have died

That's a good start then Jeff. I read loads of good reviews for Palm Doctor on the old Zumo forum. Hopefully he'll sort it for you.
Cheers, Pete.
