I have software version 2.7 and as I said in my earlier post it works just fine.
Tested it on the road again today.

Re: Audio warning issue
I can turn all warnings off, including the speedwarning.
Got my XT last Thursday
And I can choose 20 over, 15 over, 10 over, 5 over, at the speed limit or OFF.
Also, choose differently for citytraffic or outside.

Re: Battery life experience
To make certain that you can always use your XT, I guess you could put a car 12 volt socket somewhere on your bike and then a cable long enough to reach inside the tent. Quite a few of my friends have done that to make sure they always have power to charge not onky the GPS but other gadgets they bri...

Locking device for the XT
I am contemplating buying the Locking device sold by Waypoint in Holland. Seems less bulky and smarter than the Touratech lock which is plain ugly. Anyone that has any experience of this lock. Seems to me that it should be OK for leaving the GPS on the bike for short periods of time when you are nea...

Re: zumo XT First (and continuing) impressions
Yes, it does.
Toured France last summer and they showed up as danger zones, so you know that it is ther somwhere along the road.
Also be aware that cameras in France also records speed and take pictures in both directions.

Re: zumo XT First (and continuing) impressions
Same here in Sweden.
Hopefully it is because they have decided to incorporate TPMS for the XT.

Re: Zumo XT section
I have written to Garmin International directly and told them what we think of their decision not to include TPMS for the XT. Looking at their own homepage there is no end to how good this is and now that is obviously not the case any longer. I and a lot of my friends in Vulcan Riders Sweden have in...
