If I put MP3s on the XT, will I be able to hear them AND get the phone if someone calls all off the XT. If so then I don't need carplay. Carplay is a pain in the rear anyway.
If not, I think I'm going to try disconnecting my phone from the XT. I want to keep CarPlay for the phone.

Re: Audio disconnect
The XT is only paired to the Sena and the IPhone. The IPhone is also paired to the Goldwing. If I could keep the 'media' checkbox unchecked I think my problem would be solved. But it seems to check it's self at times. I also found that if I disconnect the phone, at the XT, at some time it will recon...

XT Questions
I have a 2006 Honda Goldwing. NO Bluetooth. So, I have a couple of questions before I buy one. Can the XT be wired like say the 665? With an audio in. Is there an auto out jack/speaker so you can use it in your car without the Bluetooth? Can you make phone calls without Bluetooth? Or is EVERYTHING B...

Having trouble
I've switched from Mac to PC. While much of Basecamp is the same there are a lot of differences. Here is two problems I'm having so far. 1. Is there any way to have the select tool as the default? Tired of having to go to the tools menu to have to select it. 2. When I do a search (find) most of the ...

Re: Swith from Mac To PC
Click on the route so it's highlighted then Alt + Left click where you want to 'rubber band' the route. You can then drag and click. I suggest you work through this tutorial for more information on how it all works: https://www.newenglandriders.org/learn-basecamp/ This is just what I was looking fo...

Swith from Mac To PC
I've just changed from a Mac to PC version of Basecamp. Can someone tell me how to click on a route and drag it so I can change where it's going? I'm sure it's easy but I can't seem to figure it out.
thanks

Re: More pre-purchase questions please
Thanks, but is there any way to mount it in a car?
Was wondering if the speaker was loud enough for a car?

More pre-purchase questions please
I have two 665lm that are getting a bit old and thinking of a new XT. I love my 665 and think it's the best Garmin ever made. I'll miss XM. Since my Goldwing and my helmet are NOT Bluetooth (2006) I have to hard wire. I also want to move the unit from the bike to my car like I do my 665. 1. Does it ...
