I have just received a notification that there is an update to the Map. It is still listing the map name as 2019.30

I think what you are seeing is both imperial and metric zoom levels. On local roads 500ft or 120 meters Highway .5 mile or 800 meters Ramp .3 mile or 500 meters Dependent on which unit of measurement is selected on the device. The 396 does not have a line out lead, the 595 does.

With the other question, no idea. I would assume if the Indian has a Bluetooth function, it would be possible.

Welcome to the forum. There are some excellent guide locations within the forum - I don't have the capability of giving the links just yet. Plus a number of people have excellent knowledge to assist with any queries. However the best thing is to just play with it. Make smaller routes amend them etc....
