The static number in the lower corner is the posted speed. Be careful because it is not always correct and is not always there. It's appearance is dependant on the map information. I believe reset options to default will bring it back. However; I believe it will reset anything else you have customized.

mp3val found no files needing repair. With card it still takes about 45 sec. Without card it takes about 25 sec.

Welcome JD. I have a 660 and it took a long time to boot with lots of mp3 files on the microSD. If I removed the card it booted fast. I can't remove the card now since the maps are now on it.
