I have been playing with the GPS from my recliner and think I have figured out that it is some sort of scale of miles because the value changes with screen zooming. While riding, I see it change but don't notice a change in zoom. Perhaps the commonly seen change from ".8 mi" to "1.2 ...

Yep, I'm trying to do it without Explorer as it messes up many other things. Sadly, the "weather radar does not animate if you are in motion" problem is not yet resolved.

Replacement unit received... it seems to be working well so far. Holding it under a steady stream of water from the tap it DOES still register as touches, but turn that tap down to individual drops and it seems more resistant than the old unit. I'll have to wait for the real test (in rain, outdoors)...

I guess I should have screen-capped the screen showing what updates were going to be installed... I'm going off of foggy memory of something from a week ago. NEXT time.

I think the latest update (just got it a day or two ago) referenced updating some voices, not much else.

I didn't realize, though, that it is the same version number as previous firmwares. That seems silly and confusing.
