The forum seems a little unstable

I clicked on my bookmark, told me the forum didn't exist. Clicked on "Forum Index" and it got there, but not logged in. Logged in OK. Went to a subforum which had unread posts and I had to log in again before I could see or reply to any unreads. Nothing has changed my end in the last coupl...

It should just recalculate to the next shaping point. But I suggest you try it out yourself before you head off to France - different models may do different things.

Pete, There is something seriously wrong here. I’ve planned a 3 week trip abroad using Basecamp/Mapsource and the Garmin agreed with it. So, it SHOULD work. Are the maps on your Garmin the same as on the PC? Are you sure any intermediate points you have set are on the road and not just off. Are you ...

If you run a speed test and it looks OK, it could be the routing from your ISP onwards. You could try changing your DNS settings to 1.1.1.1 and see if that makes a difference. I’m in the UK on a 200mb/sec line and I get a 200mb/sec download from Garmin, so I know it should be faster than you are get...

It could be your ISP or your PC. Is it connecting wirelessly? If so, can you connect using a wired connection?
