Re: GPX test route

It's interesting that when I download a GPX route it opens in Mapsource. It never shows on Basecamp which is also installed on my laptop :?

Re: Bore da! (Good morning from Wales )

P'nawn da from Kernow and welcome to the Forum.
Did you find the link on UKBTE maybe?
I found that Basecamp helped with all my route planning but it's worth looking at the Tutorials on You Tube.

Cradle Lock for 660 Mount

I made this simple device to act as a detterent. As seen in the photos it prevents the release button being pressed meaning the Zumo or dust cover cannot be removed from the cradle. It also prevents the GPS from being accidently released while you're travelling. Seems unlikely but I have heard of it...

Re: Yo ... (that's hi in Philadelphia, PA)

Welcome soberbyker, as you say the forum is in it's formative state but hopefully will continue to grow and help us all with our queries about Zumos old and new. I made a small modification to my 660 mount which, although not lockable, should act as a detterent to the casual thief. I'll take a photo...

Re: How do we get people over here?

I've just posted a link on FB page "UK Bikers Touring in Europe". It's a very busy FB page with loads of GPS users. Hopefully it may encourage a few to have a look. :)
Cheers, Pete.

Re: How do we get people over here?

Is the old site now closed? Thought there was a month or so left for it to run. Perhaps anyone who can contact arkiebiker to find out what's happening and to see if he could put a link to here? Logging on just shows Maintenance Mode. I'll see if I can put a message to him Via his blog contact detai...

Would there be any hope of a response if someone were to contact arkiebiker direct?
