I also had the 'not enough memory' message, however this is the first time this has occured, I have had a large SD memory card in my 660 for many years and have no problems before. Using 'Mapinstall' I was able to choose where to load the maps, half on the Unit, half on the SD card, it works OK now....

My R1150GS, bought new in April 2001, only done about 65,000 miles though, not used it much since buying a motorhome, intended to go down to Portugal (again) this year, hopefully next year may be better.

I stopped running my 660 in 'Motorcycle' mode years ago, it caused more headaches with it's weird diversions than I can remember.

I've always used Mapsource with my 660, about eight? years, and it works perfectly.

Mapsource uses the latest maps too.

I seem to recollect reading somewhere that Basecamp didn't like 660's... could be wrong there though.

.... but not to Zumo.. a refugee from Zumo Forums.. been using Zumo's for quite awhile, 550 now 660, and still using Mapsource..
