Both have the point skip feature but you have to enable it. on the 395 you start by touching the wrench symbol then change route then the option of skipping either the next &quo...

However I wanted to m...

Thanks for the reply. Physically they seem to be identical on the outside but they could be internally different.

Re: Duplicating internal drive on zumo 396

Thanks for the quick and comprehensive reply! The problem was the MTP setting. Lol, did you get it changed to mass storage? Speaking of which. On my 396, after setting it to mass storage, when I plug it in to PC I get a notice of switching to mass storage, I've got 20 seconds to hit cancel. On my f...

I have JaVaWa device manager. It sees my Zumo 390 and Etrex but it cannot see the Zumo 395.
Also, the 395 is invisvble to Mapsource.

I have set my folder options to show system files but do not see the .system folder or any img files.
I can see these on my Zumo 390.

Re: 395 Turning off and On

I just bought a refurbed 395 and am seeing this thread for the first time. I have not used the 395 yet but have used two 390s for a few years. One of the 390s has always had the lost power problem.
