Re: CN NA 2025.10
FRW. I can't explain what you are seeing. I have several GPS devices. I use a Nuvi 54LM to initially load the new maps to my computer. Once the maps are on the PC, I use the process outlined in my earlier message, with map install loading the maps to the SD card. As I stated in my other post, I load...

Re: CN NA 2025.10
So, my original question was, Michael, what's your secret to load CN NA 2025.1 to your Zumo 550. The latest maps Garmin allows me to load to my 550 is 2024.1. My understanding is the Zumo 550 will no longer be supported with new maps. Am I wrong about that? When I plug my Zumo 550 into my PC and at...

Re: Shaping/way points and GPS reception
Once your 590 has located satelites where you are, it should connect to satelite signal very quickly, definitely less than a minute. If your GPS is taking that long to get satelite signal, the internal battery may be weak. As suggested by others, your start point should be a short distance from Home...

Re: 396 recognises UK destination, then sends me to France!
Here's what I tried on my 396 this morning. Map is CN NA 2025.10, USA and Canada, device firmware is up to date. I tried Where To. Selected search for a City. Entered a city that's about 80 miles away. Search results showed that city first and then others with the same name in other parts of the USA...

Re: 396 recognises UK destination, then sends me to France!
I'll mention @MSTOCK27370 . I know that he has a Zumo 396. He might call in with a brilliant suggestion or be able to confirm the behaviour. Or @Fxwheels is UK based - maybe he could carry out the identical experiment on his 396 with the same maps. By mentioning them, they may get alerted to the fa...

Re: Audio Volume Control Zumo 595
My 590 is paired to a bluetooth earbud headset. The 590 tells me that audio volume is now controlled by the linked headset. I used the headset volume controls to set the volume to my liking.

Re: CN NA 2025.10
I just updated my computer and devices with the new CN NA 2025.10 maps. A Nuvi 54, Zumo 590, Z 396 and Z 550, all with lifetime maps. I ran Express in Administrator mode. Initially I tried to update the Nuvi 54 and the computer together, but that failed. I left the Nuvi attached and updated the PC (...

Re: Usb connection
Late reply.... Did you trim down the wiring before connecting the DIN plug? I want to do the same and plug the cradle into the bike's accessory socket near the handlebars but don't want the mass of wires hanging around the cockpit area. I want to get rid of1, 4, 5 & 6. No, I didn't, but I am st...

Re: Zumo 660 - Request for Information Please
I'm not a 660 owner or user, so take this cautiously. I do use two newer Zumos, and also currently use a 550. With Mapsource for routing on the 550 (I think the 660 will do the same), if I place the routing point directly ON an intersection it gets treated as a shaping point and it is NOT announced....
