The Zumo shows your speed.

If you updated maps wireless, try updating via Garmin Express

Include same routing options/avoidances on both devices. I keep all avoidances off.

Did you re download the maps?

You can still use Basecamp. I've never found Basecamp to be buggy and non-user friendly.
