Re: Removing residue from old trips

To explain part of the above. Current.gpx is a one way copy of the favourites in the devices inaccessible memory. If you delete it as stated it will simply be recreated. This is because on boot up Garmin devices look for any gpx files in the GPX folder, merge those with what's in the inaccessible me...

Re: 396 SD Card

Some card holders need you to use your finger nail or similar to push them in so they lock. On newer Drive models, at least on mine which is a DriveSmart 50, they just slide into the holder.

Re: New PC install

Well Express will install the maps to the correct folder. You did select to install the map to the PC in Express? Its under installation options. Did you then select that Map in the Map menu in BaseCamp? If you did check in the View menu that you haven't selected Basic map only.

Re: 396 SD Card

Ah ok, although with newer devices using mtp mode you may not see them as drives. Out of interest what happens when you switch to mass storage mode? Re: 396 SD Card

Not sure what you mean by "can't get your Zumo to recognise the SD card", it won't tell you in any way, just read maps etc from it as though it's part of its memory.

Re: CN EU 2020.20 NTU

Note if you want the map elsewhere on your PC the GMTK program I linked to above will move it correctly for you.
