Re: Change multiple waypoint icons
...select the first point, press SHIFT or CTRL (I never remember) on the keyboard select the last point, they will all be selected.... Press the first. Holding CTRL allows you to select any number of individual points - they do not have to be next to each other. Holding SHIFT after selecting the fi...

Re: Pairing Zumo 660 with Cardo EDGE?
@jfheath: I managed to pair the 660 and the Edge. The vital hint you gave me was to pair it as 2nd phone on the Edge side. On the ZUMO side I used the Audio channel. Now it works as I want: Edge Phone 1 <-> My cellphone Edge Phone 2 <-> Zumo 660 (Audio channel). Also, it seems that one has to switc...

Re: Change multiple waypoint icons
Welcome to the Forums ! If you are using Explore, then you can do this in the Explore App, or easier using the Explore website. You can use either or both - its all the same data that they access. You can put waypoints into one or more categories to help keep them organised, and the you can use the ...

Re: Where I've Been App
CurrentTrackLog has all of the tracks since 16 April 2024. My CurrentTrackLog has all my tracks. The Current file has no tracks. The Temp file has no tracks. Yes, that is quite likely. Those two files are not used for the recorded tracks. Temp.gpx contains all of the data that was last transferred ...

Re: Where I've Been App
OK I've just had another detailed look at mine. Since the last reset, I am up to 31.gpx in the archive and Current Track Log. I've looked at the dates available on the XT in two places i) Tracks and the calculator style Tab on the right of the screen. This currently shows all of the tracks available...

Re: Where I've Been App
Ok - but to be fair, there is no Archive Folder and the CurrentTrackLog.gpx is only 394Kb long - it often gets to between 1 and 3 Mb before it shunts anything out to the Archive Folder. Check your Settings -> Device -> Travel History If that is not ticked, then it will not record any tracks automati...

Re: Service Provider Needed?
The XT has a few weird routing behaviours - and for a long time they were annoying me / us. When you come across them, they will irritate you - and you will be back on here saying - "Oi - you said ......." Yes we did, but that is because we have the answers that Garmin were unable to provi...

Re: Service Provider Needed?
I should add some additional bits and pieces. The unit comes with maps - for a particualar local area. So the Zumo XT LM for USA and the Zumo XT LM for the UK will be the same hardware, but will be configured differently. LM means Lifetime Maps. But only for the region in which it is sold. USA Zumos...

Re: New from Denver, USA
I am new to GPS for motorcycles. I will ask a lot of very stupid questions. Have patience with me. Welcome to the forum. Ask away. Stupid questions are my favourite - 'cos they usually seek out the information that half of us take for granted, and the other half don't ask because they think they sh...

Re: Using a Packtalk Edge with a Zumo 595
My, possible, solution to using a phone to tweek the Cardo settings was going to be to take a second phone that is only used for that purpose and not switched on when the Cardo, Zumo and phione with Garmin Smart Link are in use. Would that work? Yes - I think so. It would save messing with anything...
