Just had another quick look at my screen shots. I think you are right. I am wrong. Sorting is by date / time only. Proximity doesn't come into it. I was fooled by one of the screen shots whic supported my beliefs - but the others didn't. I'm getting careless in my old age !

I don't know if the original post (by burtsr was referring to Basecamp's Trip Planner App, or whether he was just importing gpx files into the Trip Planner app on the XT. I think if other routes are involved, and these do not have a time/date then proximity of the first point to the current position is used to decide upon the order. This method is used for sorting Waypoints/Favourites - so the order is forever changing if you look at the list of favourites on differe...
