Did you get anywhere with this issue?
Is there any evidence that it is trying to get you back to its original route first ?

Re: Trip Planner Routes
Sorry. I was talking about my 'trip' ie my holiday. My holiday consisted of a number of individual routes - one per day, usually with a couple of bad weather or fatigue alternatives. Sorry, I slipped into my own terminology, forgetting that 'Trip' had implications to Garmin devices. The start of eac...

Re: Trip Planner Routes
@Peobody Very unlikely that changing the mimported byte has an effect. But to change it, you have to 'save' the trip file on the XT, thereby changing the file date. Maybe that has a side effct? I did wonder about that - not so much when changing the .trip file directly, because the date in question...

Re: Faster vs Fastest
Curvy Roads can be interesting to consider, but I think you need to add lots of via points to keep the route intact when transferred to a Zumo, which does not recognize Curvy Roads. I believe it will recalculate the route using whatever faster/shortest preference you have set on the GPS. It has bee...

Re: Trip Planner Routes
I've used date / time frequently when planning trips. The XT has no way of setting the departure date, only the time - but it still takes notice of the date that has been set in Basecamp. This is the date & time that is assigned to the first point in the route. It's a long time since I tested th...

Re: Where I've Been App
In the Where Ive been app' the tracks are listed by date. Tap the displayed date to get a scrollable list to choose other dates. This is the problem. There is no scrollable list anymore. Just todays date. There are no other dates anymore. Where did they go? It sounds like they have gone. Plug in th...

Re: Where I've Been App
The active logs all appear as unsaved on the Zumos. Eventuually, they get deleted automatically, otherwise the system will use up all its own internal memory. You can select an active log track using the Zumo track app itself and ask for it to be saved. That creates a new Gpx file which will not be ...

Re: Where I've Been App
Tracks are retained until the XT decides that it needs to get rid of them. With earlier Zumos this used to be when it had used up all of the 20 files that it uses for storage. They are numbered files in the folder Gpx/Archive. They still are. I have read that it now keeps them for a few months (3 ri...
