that right lower corner number you reference is the speed limit for that road, and as has been said, it is not always there, and does not always correspond to the real posted limit. What I would like to have, and please tell me if this can be done on the 665, is on the screen with the BIG compass on...

thanks for that info. On one of the screens there is a parameter called "backlight" and a % next to it, and Up/Down buttons next to that. By pressing the up or down buttons you can increase of decrease the backlight, making the screen a bit brighter. My 665 is all but useless in bright lig...
