It uses the NTU maps, that's why I thought it would be there. Perhaps they need to tweak them for the BMW Navs, but I wouldn't have thought so.

Yes, that will remove the old installed Maps that you no longer need, but it does not remove the temporary files identified in my post.

If you update the maps regularly, it is worth checking for, and deleting, temporary files on your computer (this applies to Windows PCs, I'm not sure what happens on MACs). In the first instance I would try cleaning the contacts both on the cradle and on the back of the SatNav, if you haven't done so already. Just clean them gently with a switch cleaner (isopropanol). Or just try cleaning with a dry cotton cloth.

No, they did do an equivalent to the 550, but I think it was pretty much identical to the Garmin 550, there my be earlier models, I'm not sure.

Hi Stu,

Would it be possible to have a separate section for the BMW range of Navigators, e.g. the Nav IV, Nav V, and Nav VI?
I know they are similar to the Garmin models they are based on but, on the later models, they are getting features that are more unique to BMW.
