Re: CN EU 2023.2 is available
So is the advice that I should not install it on my Zumo 396 for the UK? I started installing it then on reading this thread aborted it!

Up Ahead
I want to see petrol stations in the up ahead function but I'm not interested in seeing restaurants or motorcycle locations. Can these be removed?

Lost Folders
I've reinstalled basecamp on my PC and all the folders and routes which would show in my library in the old version have gone. Theres lots of files sitting on my PC in Garmin folders, would any of these be the old folders and routes? I'm thinking files with extensions GMP.

Specific Road Types
I live in UK and enjoy motorcycling on single lane B roads. I try and avoid dual carriageways as often as possible. I'd also rather not ride in towns or busy built up areas. Whilst theres an option to avoid highways in BC, this only seems to excludes motorways. Is there any way you can specify it to ...

Re: Zumo 396 Impressions
Glad to hear it appears you like the jump from the 550 to the 396. Had my 550 since 2006, still going, have had zero issues with it, but just ordered a 396, should be here early next week.
I've come from a 550 to a 396. The main reason being that 550 didn't work with basecamp. Really like the ...

I'm running version 4.7.1. I've found a link to download the older version, you suggesting I should download and use that if I want to use it in conjunction with Google Maps?sussamb wrote: Mon Jan 20, 2020 11:39 am Me too. I'll stick with 4.6.2 until they restore the GE link

Re: Ignoring Way Points
It will probably depend on if you go through the point or not!
I tend to put stops on the main roads so if I don't stop it doesn't matter
Some of the stops are a few 100 yards off the road I'll be travelling along. Is there not something you can do on the fly which will just enable you to miss ...

Ignoring Way Points
I'm planning a long trip in the Spring and have plotted some quite long routes on my Zumo 396 which include cafe stops every 2 or 3 hours. If whilst actually riding the route I'm feeling like I'd like to just continue and not stop, can I just ignore the stop or will my 396 keep trying to take me ...
