Can someone confirm this method is not working on an XT? (it works on my 390).

The XT is completely garbled with a mix of maps, probably due to an error during update.

Soft reset or reset from the menu systems does not do any difference on the XT.

Yes I did. For solving another issue I had to reset both my Zumo XT and My BT Headset again, and after that it went away.

I have got replacement for both mount and cable and went for a weekend trip. I still loose power connection 20 times / hour. What a piece if sh.. Will demand a return of my XT tomorrow!

Is this only occurring when you can see visible damage on those pins? I actually have intermittent power loss on the external supply when i'm driving. I can't provoke it on stand, and can't see any damage to the pins (did a macro photo with my camera). Pretty sure my power installation is working, b...

Ok, that was kind of annoying. On my Zumo 390 i get more/less info fields depending on which layout I select.
The one I use right now, has in non navigation mode: Elevation, Speed, Direction and Time shown.
On the XT I only have two fields, which is: Speed, and one more selectable (pt. Time).

I'm desperately searching for where I can select which dashboard I will use as I can in my Zumo 390.
Not found anything in the manual neither.
Anybody that can give me a hint here?
