I contacted Garmin and they are replacing the entire unit and power connector. a rubber bumper seems to have come off which caused the problem.

Although the interface takes some getting used to, my issue has been with the failure of the power terminals. Im using a work around by plugging in the USB power adaptor. I feel it’s has been the vibration from long rides as I rarely removed it on my last 10,000 km ride but noticed it was not ...
