Thanks for the detailed reply. Whichever way I look at it the only reliable method is to look for the bespoke motorcycle cradle for the 590/595....Garmin certainly didn't want much interchangeable parts between models.

Hi, I'm looking to set up just usb charging on my motorbike for my Zumo 590, I only have the car cradle with speaker at the rear. Will a bare Zumo 340/390 motorbike cradle without it's cable hold my Zumo 590 sat nav? The bare 390 cradle can easily be sourced, but the actual '590' 18 pin cradle/cable ...
