Thanks for this, but I always create a comprehensive itinerary for every tour, complete with date, day, times, travel times & distance, and even the co-ordinates of the destination in case everything goes wrong πŸ˜‚. Having sussed out the use of shaping points, I've created the routes I wanted in Tyre (which I've used for many years and am happy with) and they work just how I want them to. For me, the XT2 is quite finicky, a lot more buttons to press to get what you want. The names of things are not intuative ...

You don't need to use Tread or Basecamp, "Tyre 2 Navigate" does it all on a PC perfectly well, and will communicate with your XT2 πŸ‘πŸ˜Ž
