I created an mp3 folder on the micro sd card and transferred the mp3 files to the card in the Zumo. The device can't find the files, as described in a post above. Being a Zumo newbie, I am not understanding the file structure post above. Is my problem that I need to create a particular file structure?

For the 396 is it just mp3? Is there a list of supported formats?

I deleted BC, GE, and the map. Let GE handle the reinstall using all defaults. Seems to be working.

I have what may be a related problem, or maybe not.... Newbie so I'm not really sure what's going on. My 396 LMT-S updated by wifi when I turned it on. Slick. When I connected it to the pc, BC found it and copied the map file from it to a temp folder, but when I unplugged the gps maps dissappeared. ...

My wife had a Zumo 550 that we retired a couple of years ago, and now after two gpsless years it's my turn. Brand new 396 LMT-S in house and learning the ropes.
