well in that case Garmin should go for a quick and dirty solution (until problem is solved) and that is bring in a a choice - sync automatically or manual..

When manual then new button sync now.

Syncing in general can be done several way's.
IT can be done by "Stupid" compare files (by doing a calculate over a file) or by a ticker flag (that state this file is changed) or a combination of both.

How Garmin does this !?!?!

so on old phone no problem and new phone you have that problem.

What I did see in that video was that phone was disconnected via Call Hold.
Can you see if you have "call waiting" option in you're new phone is active and if so turn if of and test again ...

But it shows from your'e testing that tread does something with the call.

As you already pointed out on garmin is show like call is still there (2minute31 in video) in top right..
And on hang up land ...

I think in both cases you disconnect the connection by hanging up the the landline first.
I see the mobile going via hold to disconnect (to me strange) and would not surprise me if Garmin states that is wrong.

What happens it you do the disconnect on Garmin , before hanging up the ...
