TPMS won't pair up

I've been using the Garmin TPMS sensors on both wheels for 2 years with my 395LM. The system works well and the batteries last 25,000 miles or so. I recently used my 395 in my truck for a 2000 mile trip, the 'TPMS wheel sensor is not connected' warning was showing the whole trip because the bike was...

Re: Reversing Route

With my 395, select Apps, TracBack.

Re: Intermittent power supply

I believe my problems with intermittent power is resolved. My GPS and both cradles were still in warranty so I contacted Garmin about this, and another problem I was having with the screen freezing while navigating. Garmin first replaced the GPS which eliminated the freeze-up issue but I still had t...

I then came across a user who discovered a solution to this issue by adjusting the space on each connector inside the unit <snip>
Jenny, could you please post a link to show what connectors need to be adjusted?
On my 395 the 10 screws require a T6 driver.

Re: Intermittent power supply

Thanks for the replies. I read the other post and that appears to be a problem with the battery not holding a charge, where my issue is more with the GPS not making/keeping contact with the bike power supply while mounted in the cradle. If I remove my GPS from the cradle it will remain on for quite ...

Re: Intermittent power supply

The battery doesn't appear to be serviceable or removable, like it was in my 660. There is no access cover on the GPS, and the owners manual makes no mention of the battery whatsoever.

Intermittent power supply

With my 395 mounted in the bike cradle with the power leads connected directly to the battery, my GPS frequently (2-3 times a week) looses power and begins the shut-down routine, but usually powers up again within a minute. I've cleaned the contact buttons and spring-loaded pins with contact cleaner...

Re: Hi from Canada

Welcome to the forum Garry! I recognize your username from the Vulcan Bagger Forum. Yes, but now that I no longer own a Vulcan I guess I should retire myself off of there.... (not really) :) Having lost the radio/Ipod, I have bought a Sena headset and using Zumo as an MP3 player. This works well en...

Glitches with my 395

Hi, I'm new here. I have a Zumo 395 with TPMS and Sena SRL headset (Neotec 2 helmet) and Samsung J1 phone paired. The 395 frequently (like every 100 kms or so) looses power and begins the shut down routine then goes blank after 15 seconds, usually starts up again on its own. If I gently hit the unit...

Hi from Canada

I'm glad to find this forum. My current device is 395, after having a 550 and 660.
Apps are TPMS and Sena SRL and Samsung J1 mini.
Current ride is Yamaha Super Tenere, with a new Tracer GT en-route from Japan.
