Re: Tread app not syncing to XT2
Garmin has really dropped the ball with the Tread App connection to a XT2. Nothing but complaints about how unreliable it is. Most reliable way to get your personal routes to work correctly, (from my personal experience and reading other posts) is to use "BaseCamp" to plan the route and th...

Re: Save created "Round Trip".
Anyone know of a way to stop the unit form deleting an in progress round trip, when unit it is temporarily shut off, stopping for fuel, coffee etc. I have an XT. When stopping, it will maintain its route when it is allowed to go to sleep. It wakes up ready to continue on. Turning it off with the po...

How to hardwire a XT2 to Honda CB500X so it auto powers on and off.
This will hopefully be of benefit to those who own a Honda CB500X, (mine is a 2020 model) and want to know how to connect the Zumo XT2 to the Honda and have it auto power on, and auto power off, the same as the headlights. Wasn't too hard, just fiddley. I had to remove both of the left-hand panels, ...

Save created "Round Trip".
Tried out the create round trip function on the XT2 today. It did a good job! (2 hour round trip). Only thing that was annoying using this function, was that if the XT2 was tuned off for any reason, the calculated round trip will then not show again when the unit was turned back on. Is it normal for...

Re: Garmin support for Zumo XT2
I use GAIA GPX website to first create the route. I find it a lot more intuitive to use than Base Camp. I then export the route from GAIA GPX into BASECAMP and finally send from Basecamp to the Zumo XT2. Haven't had the opportunity to test it out on a long ride but I have tested it making complex ro...

Re: Garmin support for Zumo XT2
The Garmin Australian support website is still providing a dropdown list, which shows the XT2 model and is providing support. No need to enter in any serial number.

Re: Garmin support for Zumo XT2
The TREAD app is dead in the water for me! I've completely deleted it from my iPhone. As others have said, the only reliable way to import routes is directly from base camp. I'm very disappointed that Garmin, after making such a big announcement telling all of us XT2 owners how wonderful the tread a...

Re: Garmin Listened!!!!
I think that a better name for the Tread App would be the Terd App!

Re: Garmin Listened!!!!
Yes, I'd also be interested to also hear if the Tread App finally works as it should, when meshed with the XT2.

Good to hear that you're still working on it. Will be interesting to see how it all goes.
