Hi, I have an XT2 and have read as much as I can about TripManager and am keen to experiment a bit and see how well it works after all I have read. Just a newbie question Can I still keep the Tread app with the XT2 pairing permissions or should I reset the XT2 and do a fresh install of the Tread app ...

I have had it clear for a long time, basically since I bought the XT2 almost two years ago and after seeing the disaster and little support from the manufacturer for this device, too many problems. I should never buy the XT2 and it is an expensive product for the little it has to offer.

I route plan using Basecamp and then transfer them to Tread and let it sync with the XT2. I only use way / via points and always monitor the route on my phone / tablet. Has anyone solved this problem? Not yet. There has been some indication from Garmin that they will have a fix for the route change issues sometime in 2025.
