I think it must be the old map as seen on screenshot from basecamp.

Re: CN EU 2025.10 NTU

Just updated my Nav V successfully with EU NTU2025.1 but it has left NTU2024.1 on the sd card (mainly but not only file: D6210260A.img 3gb). This is bound to cause confusion.
Any safe way to delete it?

Re: Basecamp Version

I know this is a very old discussion. However, I stuck to 4.6.2 until now but Garmin will not help me with an issue whereby I can no longer sign in to myGarmin through Basecamp unless I upgrade. I can sign in to Garmin Connect etc on a browser so I know the sign-in is valid. Any opinions before I bi...

This happens now and again. Option (2) above always works for me.

Re: Can coordinates be used to add a waypoint?

As a regular walker/hiker I often have to find obscure car parks. I find them on Google Earth, usually down to street level, then make a placemark at the entrance. Then create a waypoint on BC nearby. Then change the coordinates on BC to be exactly as per the GE placemark. I not only use this for ca...

Re: Export route to a table format

I just tried exporting a route from Basecamp to a GPX file then opening just that route in the old Mapsource programme (which preceded Basecamp). Under the Directions tab in the route properties I selected all then copied and pasted in to Excel. It came out in nice columns unlike in Basecamp. Is tha...

Re: Map update

Neither my BMW Nav V nor my DriveSmart 66 ask for an update on Garmin Express to 2023.2.

Re: Yellow Symbol

It’s that you have selected activity ‘none’; if you double click on route you can change activity near top right to,for example, Driving or Motorcycling etc

Export csv file anomaly

In summary this query is about exporting a track or tracks from Basecamp to a CSV file; the resulting list of Points are all one hour behind the real time during BST. I do three or four long walks per week and download them from my GPSMAP 64ST each evening then store them in Basecamp. I also keep an...

Re: Area Avoidances definitions - how to copy to another PC?

As I have replied elsewhere, when I change pc I do a backup from basecamp using the backup function in the file menu and then do a restore on new pc from the backup file created. This might include avoidances etc. I don’t recall.
