Re: Music PLayer

I can have both my headset and XT2 connected to my phone simultaneously and have the media checked on the headset connection only. My Sena SRL Mesh uses the dedicated GPS connection it has so I still get audio directions while music streams from my phone directly. As long as it keeps working this wa...

Re: Music PLayer

I'm not going to worry about it too much as the music sounds a little better when going from phone to headset directly as opposed to being funneled through the XT2. Besides, I just put on a playlist and can control it from my headset directly better if I do at all.

Music PLayer

I use MediaMonkey to manage my music library on pc and also have the app on my Galaxy S23 Ultra with the latest update. The media player on the XT2 shows my phone as the music source but I am not able to use the controls nor does it show any track info. I can control things from my phone and the aud...

You Might Need a Factory Reset

Since the last software update things have been not quite the same and un-pairing/re-pairing with phone/Tread did not work , it just broke the connectivity. After doing a complete XT2 reset and deleting and re-installing Tread everything is like it should be once again. I'm just glad this didn't tur...

Re: 2 Android Devices with XT2?

Yes, it appears that it is easily possible. I have the Tread App installed on 2 of my phones, an LG V60 running Android 13, and a Moto Edge + (2022) also running Android 13. The Moto Edge is my normal phone for connecting to my XT2. The V60 is normally used for my XT but has all the Garmin Apps ins...

2 Android Devices with XT2?

Unlike most people here I actually like the Tread app. I never used Basecamp, just written directions/map on my tank bag but have had other Garmin gps products in the past. My Galaxy S23Ultra has a decent size screen and the s-pen makes planning easy, but I also want the option of using a larger tab...

Re: Tips on using the skip function please

Since I'm not installing my Zumo on my current bike but on the new one I'm getting this spring I've been taking it with me in the car to get used to it. I'm using Tread to create the routes and found that the skip function actually works very well leaving all shaping and way points intact. Maybe if ...

Re: Tips on using the skip function please

Thank you for your very concise reply. I appreciate you taking the time to do this and now I have one less thing to think about. Since I stick to paved roads I'll just not use it. I noticed that if I keep going past a designated stop the XT2 just keeps following the rest of the route without having ...

Tips on using the skip function please

Hi All, I'm still getting the hang of my XT2 and when navigating a route on the upper right there is a skip button with a pin surrounded by a squiggly arrow. The manual does not mention this and I have not been able to find any info on it. I only tried it today but the result was not what I was expe...

Inexpensive Android Tablet for Tread?

Hi all, Once I got used to the Tread app I'm actually liking it very much. I use other software for big picture pre-planning but Tread works very well with the XT2. I'm considering getting an Android tablet but I can't justify spending a ton of money eventhough I'll wind up using it for other stuff,...
