Cheers Peobody .... It wll be interesting to see what Garmin have to say about it. Looking through the post on here, I will obviously be stripping off the cradle (yet again) and have a closer look at just what versions I have. I.E. old cradle, new cradle, old cable, new cable etc. I will report back...

Added to my post .... I have obviously stripped and checked and rechecked that I had assembled the backing mount correctly with all the spacers/washers etc in the correct order. Frustrating!!

I too have just bought the XT and after spending a couple of hours removing the 2020 DL1000 bike panels, sourcing a suitable switched live and cable route, and then refitting everything, the XT fails to connect once mounted. I did a check before refitting everything and it powered up nicely...

Hi guys. Just made the "defection" from TomTom (sorry for swearing) to Garmin. Based on the reviews, I decided to.splash out on the top end Zumo XT for my 2020 Suzuki DL1000Adventure. Looking forward to finally getting out more and having some fun.
