The Apps menu has the same "Tip" icon but having mastered the where to? menu, I have to report failure on the Apps screen, I don't seem to be able to make the icons move as indicated.

finally got this feature to work, the screen is very sensitive to touch, just the least amount of pressure to move the icons.

I have just had a long series of conversations with Garmin about various issues with my XT. The last map upload (2024.2) failed during the transfer, leaving me with "no maps found" messages and the unit inoperable. after contacting Garmin, over the course of a week, retrying all the things...

From memory the unit can tell if it's on the motorcycle or car mount, I think that's how it knows to use bluetooth or earpiece for the bike.
Although sometimes it takes a while to chose, but then my units are both around 12 years old.

I regularly have to uninstall/reinstall Express when updating maps, very often Express only opens with a blank screen beneath the page header.
My computer could not to open the map update file in either Mapsource or Basecamp as it was corrupted.
