Do a search for a program called MP3Tag which is freeware
I use that to assign the album name artist etc and the XT recognises it.

Another option with waypoints is to give them a category i.e. Day1, Day2 etc then you can search by that category to see you options for the day.

According to the Garmin site they cannot be shipped charged if transported on a plane.

When i first received my XT that is exactly the problem I had out of the box.
I contacted Garmin support and they replaced the unit.
