Re: Hello from Bristol...!
Maybe it is a pre-format vs. no-format thing. Mine is a 128gb card and was formatted by my XT. File Explorer shows 106gb free of 116gb storage available.

Re: Hello from Bristol...!
Just put a new SD card in the XT and turn it on. It does the formatting for you.

Re: XT routing offroad despite avoidances
If you haven't tried it, switch to driving mode. I used this exclusively until I figured out the quirks of the XT.

Re: Making Track visible on the Map
I rely on voice instructions for long stretches, so I can easily miss seeing the track diverge from my route. Using a wide, black track puts a border on the route, giving me reassurance that I am still on route. If I don't see the border when I do look at the screen, I know I've gone astray. I've a...

Re: How Do I Remove Excess Themes?
Your duplicates are probably using different file names, but the displayed name is actually contained in the file. Likely the theme was modified in a text editor and saved with a different file name, but the <TITLE> field was not changed. Every theme begins with a section like this: <?xml version=&...

How Do I Remove Excess Themes?
When I look at my XT I have themes' names repeated, sometime 3 times. How do I delete the copies? When I look at my XT when connected to my computer I see only one of each so I'm not sure how to clean out the extras. I'd like to show some screenshots but it seems my laptop doesn't do that anymore, a...

Re: Basecamp and via points/shaping points
Not sure if this is your issue but note that you cannot change via BaseCamp routes on your device, you need to make the changes before sending the route. Yet another reason to store routes on the SD card and not in internal memory ;) . Points can be changed in a route stored on my device's SD card ...

Re: Basecamp and via points/shaping points
Thank you, but that does not seem to work for me. I'm attaching 3 screen caps. The first is the list of points. You can see that they are grey, but the title says that they are via points. Ignore the title. Trust me. The second shows the window when I right click on one of those points. You can see...

Re: Basecamp and via points/shaping points
In Base Camp, the bottom left pane, you can double click your route name to open a box. The bold text indicates a via (alerting) point and the grayed out ones are shaping (unannounced) points. You can change from one to the other by right clicking the point. In that box, you can also tick "cent...
