Re: Using "Where I've been" information

Any special place on the Garmin XT to do this? Or do you have to use Live Tracking?

Map updates on PC vs Zumo XT

I downloaded maps via Garmin Express to my PC so I don't need to have the unit connected always when working a long route. Was wondering if the maps on the PC will be updated when the maps on my Garmin Zumo XT are updated?

Re: Move from PC to Mac

There are numerous differences on the mac version. May be worth reading through the Mac version of this tutorial https://www.newenglandriders.org/learn-basecamp/ Thanks... just got done reading much of the NE PC training! I will take a look and thanks for that. I am sure there will be another learn...

Move from PC to Mac

I may be moving from Windows 10/11 to Mac OS and wanted to know if there are any known issues with Basecamp and Mac vs PC. I finally got to a comfort level in using Basecamp on my Windows machine, and am familiar with Mac but not with using Basecamp on a Mac.

Thanks

I am on Windows 10 / Laptop. I reviewed Options an apparently this has been a "feature request" to Garmin for a time.

"Locking" Toolbar

Is there a way to lock the Toolbar in BaseCamp? When I open to plan a route, the Toolbar is often changed or moved around (i.e. not the way I set it up). It's driving my OCD crazy! Searched but found no answer... PS> many thanks to all as I have gotten fairly used to BaseCamp, now I find it useful i...

Re: Upgrading BT headset - Sena 50s vs Cardo Pactalk

First off the Garmin XT and my Sena units (I have 20s, 20 and SL2) have all paired well with my Garmin XT. I have not tried Cardo... I will say my Sena units do not provide a great sound IMHO via the stock speakers (in helmet) which is disappointing, though I have seen they have an upgraded speaker ...

Multiple PCs - Basecamp Sharing of Routes

Is there a way to share or sync my library of routes created in Basecamp with other PCs that I use? Current Condition: I use two primary laptops one for work, and one for personal use. I use my personal laptop for planning and creating routes/trips in Basecamp along with a library of folders (Local,...

Re: Hello from North Texas!

Thanks, and I do plan on getting more familiar with Base Camp as I feel no need to plan on this app, transfer to that app, convert to this type, and cross my fingers. One thing I do prefer for sure is the unit itself, brighter, larger and more information available, though I lean to simple. Just as ...
