Re: Pairing XT with Packtalk Edge as GPS
raesewell , I am curious about two things... 1. Apple or Android phone? jfheath identified a capability on Android that is not on Apple. I don't remember the specifics. 2. Can you see texts on the XT with the XT not being the hub? FWIW, I have a Packtalk Bold. Having the XT as the hub was the only ...

Re: Talk to XT
I am curious how it works in the car because in my mind you would need to know the address to speak which would first research to find unless you are talking about speaking the name of a location that exist in some sort of a saved destinations list.

Re: CN 2020.20 EU Windows 11 map update issue
Windows 11 has an S mode, commonly installed on new PC's. This mode prevents any program from running that is not an app from the Microsoft store. I suggest checking to make sure your Win11 is not running in S mode. A web search will provide plenty of hits on how to check it.

Re: Being forced to go back to a waypoint
There seems to be a difference of opinion on here as to whether the Skip function forces a complete recalc, or only recalls to the next Waypoint (or Viapoint?). I know for certain that it recalcs to the end of the route on both my XT and my buddies NAV VI. I have a track of the route showing in the...

Re: Being forced to go back to a waypoint
Secondly on the Skip function - if it's used it seems to matter where the next via or way point is after that as it will re-route between the skipped point and the next one. - I think On the XT, the Skip function will result in the recalculation of the remainder of the route. That recalc results in...

Re: Tread app not syncing to XT2
Another problem is that when I copnnect the XT2 to my Mac, Garmin Express can see it, and I can update the GPS, but Finder can't see it, and I can't transfer files that way. Wtf? In Finder, be sure to look for it as a removable drive or volume and not as a removeable/portable device. When my XT is ...

Re: Save created "Round Trip".
That's nuts!
If the XT2 works like the XT I suppose once your hit Go you could then go in Route Planner and save the active route, stop the active route, then load the saved version and start your ride.

Re: Save created "Round Trip".
Anyone know of a way to stop the unit form deleting an in progress round trip, when unit it is temporarily shut off, stopping for fuel, coffee etc. I have an XT. When stopping, it will maintain its route when it is allowed to go to sleep. It wakes up ready to continue on. Turning it off with the po...
