I just updated an open-source set of shell scripts/map styles that generate maps that show dirt roads and tracks in a different color. I only have a Zumo XT and a BMW Nav V (that I only use with stock maps) so it's only tested on that but I thought I'd share since the methodology should be the same ...

I was able to do this using Openstreetmap data and a custom made map, but not without a lot of effort.
