I mostly use the XT just to follow tracks, If I do use a route, I never use auto recalculate, although I know it still does recalculate on some occasions. For example, if you start a route while not at the bike, then turn off XT load on bike it seems to recalculate the route

If so, I reported this to garmin and they confirmed this is a bug but no interest in following up as BC is discontinued.

I have tried many things with no luck.

Garmin say "This was actually a bug that should have been fixed in app version 4.26.25 released I think it was last night, can you try and update and see if that resolves the issue?"

I think Garmin have broken something in the latest version of the Drive app. All my smart notifications are off and I have never received any. All of a sudden today I am getting email and message notifications on my Zumo XT.

I have tried setting these to on and then back off etc but nothing seems ...

My simple explanation is its software bug/memory leak. If you shut down and restart the unit by holding down the power button it should work as normal after that

This happens often to me and a restart always fixes it

Garmin are aware of this but not doing anything about it.

Has anyone else noticed that when you create a trip from a track it only gives you "bear right/left" and "roundabout" instructions. It does not show Turn Rights and Lefts.

I got this to work!

By running GE (7.20.1.0) as administrator . When you start GE as admin, Windows asks you to confirm if you can allow GE to make updates to your disk. I clicked Yes.

I suspect that in non admin mode it does not ask for this and therefore fails.

I have the same issue, in that I can't install this map to the PC. Any idea how I can downgrade GE ?

Very good review. I can't figure out why it would have no shortest route option..
