It's not that it won't let you skip it, there just isn't a need to skip it. The XT doesn't try to force you back to a shaping point like it will if you miss a Via point. That is what believe I have experienced. My shaping points would have been set to not alert. I wonder if that makes a difference....

OK, this is probably a dumb question, but the "Skip Waypoint" button that used to the in the top right corner of my XT seems to have disappeared while I am navigating these days.

Would anybody have an idea why or how to get it back?

I have done a bit more research on this and it appears that it may be because my phone (iPhone 11 Pro) has Device Management on it from my work. This could be the reason that certain apps are prevented from sharing their "share sheets". I've put a ticket in with the IT department to see if...

So I am trying to figure out how to get certain apps to share locations or routes to Garmin Drive - with the hope I can then get them wirelessly to my XT. In Apple Maps, if I select a location and "share" I get options to send to various Apps - one of which is Drive. No problem - it works ...

From either BaseCamp or any other 3rd party routing software to the XT without having to plug it in?

OK, new user here, but I can create trips easily enough in Trip Planner, then tell it to save and name the trip. But when I go to Save Trips, it's not there. This doesn't seem to happen all the time, just most of it. Imported Trips from Basecamp are fine - they show as "Imported Trips" fun...
