TBH the XT is so flaky when it comes to connecting to the PC. I have had this issue and I used the time honoured and scientific rule of do the same thing over and over until it works.

I get this from time to time. I check both maps and they are the same version. Just another example of how there are so many more bugs these days in the whole Zumo to PC connection for updates and compatibility.

If the cops could be botherd and knew there way around the Zumo they would find that. But who is to say you did that on the highway, could have been on a track or private road They could also read this from your tracks stored on the Zumo. I would not worry too much. I would add that in the last 18 month I do not update before a big tour or holiday. The update has at times caused too many problems and on once killed the unit. Before this updates were no issue.

I think in the round from what i have tried and seen of TomTom and trying to use maps it is the "one eyed man in the land of the blind" The errors and problems can be circumvented with some work. This would be the one I would choose for multipoint fun tours and trips. Point to Point there ...
