Re: Dropping out

Usually works best to connect the Packtalk and phone to the Zumo but not each other.

I agree. I have a Packtalk Bold and an iPhone SE, each connected only to my zumo XT. That setup has been pretty reliable for a number of years.

I have the same as the above but sith an S20. With that and ...

Battery Failing - Implications?

My XT is a fair age. The battery is failing. It shows low battery what ever the charge but does last about an hour.

I very rarely use the battery but jsut needed to hear some experience about what happens when the battery get low or dead?
I have read about the device going into revolving boot loops!

Re: Zumo XT3 and XT3s are introduced

Does not look like the resolution or screen size has changed from the XT3 (Large) to XT2
In that case it probably means that the processor has not changed either.

I suspect the launch follows the IT industry format of new model then rebake (rise repeat)
This could be the second rebake of the XT1
If ...

Re: Help Needed - Lost Washer

When stuff like this happens I search on the internet to look for alternatives, trouble is what would you call this thing!
What i have done before is add a standoff to a washer for the same effect

Re: XT not flagging closed roads

Mine is good for that, much better than the car.
Some traffic reports use overhead cameras or other user movements. I thought because both these metods would show a clear road (actually closed) that it does not report an issue

Re: Talk to XT

Give me a few days to confirm but I(think) can move music tracks and pause them from voice commands on the XT linked to my Sena SRL3. I did not try with my Cardo Pack talk as i found the function on the SRL by accident.

That is the sena controlling the music. You are talking to sena which ...
