Re: new unit

Start zumo by itself and go to Volume Screen. Press the upper right hand corner of screen for 10 seconds. The Developers Screen will pop up. Scroll down to MTP SETTINGS. Change from AUTO DETECT to MASS STORAGE. Select mass storage Note some models may be slightly different so report back if that doe...

Re: 595 Travel Edition Maps on the computer

No, this query is about the Travel Edition version, which works differently to most other devices in that it comes with access to world wide maps ... http://www.garmin.com/en-GB/coverage-travel-edition

Re: 595 Travel Edition Maps on the computer

Have you tried updating the map on your device? It's not unusual for a new device to not have an up to date map. Oops, see you have. As for installing to PC, I have seen others post they have issues so I guess it's possible you can't do it. Think you will need to call Garmin and ask them about both ...

Re: Incorrect routing

I'm in France every six weeks or so and haven't seen any issues with maps etc. I tend to do a master reset after every map or software update, perhaps you should try that.

Even easier. Just set your device to mass storage instead of mtp mode then it'll be seen by MapSource

Re: Cannot Save Imported Route

If you've filled up your internal storage that may be the issue, but have you really done so? If so you need to create space on your internal memory or you'll run into all sorts of other issues in time.

Re: Europe NTU 2019.20 update to 390

Depends what you mean as 'last', the split occurred at least two editions ago. I agree BC can't display both halves which is a pain, but the map that Garmin install to your PC is a 'one piece' map so once it's on the PC there is no issue, it's only a problem if you're trying to read them from the de...

Re: Europe NTU 2019.20 update to 390

I've seen no such issues on earlier maps so I don't think this one was 'rushed out' as you put it. There will always be map errors, just like there are in paper maps the day they are released. I regularly travel in France and haven't seen an error in years but it does depend on road builders etc to ...

Re: Europe NTU 2019.20 update to 390

The EU map has been split for a while, as it had exceeded the FAT32 4Gb limit. The fact the Install to pc was a separate option will be because you didn't have the full EU mapset installed on your device, as to why you can't now install it to your pc I don't know. You say you got an error message, w...

are the sd cards prepared in any way.At one time i thought that the sd card had to have a gpx folder inside a garmin folder like on the device itself???
I believe they should ... although if you send the data using BaseCamp to the card that will create the correct directory structure.
